Our Ofsted inspection results

Following our recent inspection, Newcastle City Learning has been praised by Ofsted for providing a life-changing, high-quality and highly inclusive learning experience, with the service judged to be operating at a strong standard across thirteen categories.

Inspectors highlighted the strength of leadership, governance and teaching, noting that leaders have a clear vision focused on supporting disadvantaged learners and those with poor previous experiences of education.

The report states that learners and apprentices describe a strong sense of belonging in the Newcastle City Learning community, whilst young people who had previously disengaged from education quickly develop confidence, attendance and positive attitudes to learning.
