We have had the fantastic news through that 100% of our Learning and Skills Teacher Level 5 apprentices have passed their End Point Assessments with distinctions! This is a phenomenal result, and we are so pleased for everyone involved.

Here is what a couple of our apprentices had to say:

"Juggling a full-time job while doing an apprenticeship definitely had its tough moments, but with plenty of support -  especially from my manager Nicola Jones from Newcastle City Council, it was all worth it in the end. Getting a distinction has made the whole experience really rewarding.

Massive thanks to my tutor, Peter McKinney, for always being there with great advice and support right through to the finish line!" - Haley, Newcastle City Council.

"I feel incredibly fortunate and extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to complete my training here at Newcastle City Learning. Throughout this journey, I’ve learned from truly inspirational educators and peers. The staff were exceptionally encouraging and a delight to learn from. I was able to benefit from each of their specialties, gaining insight into different aspects of education that I had never even thought of prior to the course.

What’s been especially rewarding is seeing how much I’ve grown professionally from the start to the end of the course, with positive feedback not only from my colleagues but, most importantly, from my learners confirming this progress. I now feel more confident than ever in my abilities and am genuinely lucky to have been able to develop my skills under the guidance of such a talented and supportive group of tutors and mentors.

The experience was fun, engaging, and truly made me fall in love with this profession!" - David, Innersummit.

Well done to all. What a fantastic result.
