Guide to hiring an Apprentice
Streamlined process, ready-to-go support
Our hiring guide simplifies the process, making it easy to bring apprentices on board. Here’s what you can expect:
Recruitment support: We assist in identifying the right candidate, considering both skills and compatibility with your team.
Onboarding and training: We help set up a smooth onboarding experience, ensuring the apprentice understands their role and training plan.
Setting up off-the-job training: This part of the apprenticeship allows apprentices to develop wider skills. All apprentices must complete a minimum of 187 hours of off-the-job training, including taught sessions, practical training, and independent study, delivered during work hours.
Ongoing mentoring and feedback: We’ll support you in providing mentorship and regular assessments, ensuring the apprentice’s progress aligns with your organisational goals.
Assessment: Assessment may now include elements delivered during the apprenticeship. In some cases, training providers may deliver parts of the assessment, subject to quality assurance.
By following our clear steps, you can seamlessly integrate an apprentice into your team, making a positive impact from day one.
