Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship is a paid job where an employee learns and gains new skills in the workplace. 

This is a skills development programme which leads to a nationally recognised qualification. 

The apprentice gains this through a wide mix of learning in the workplace, formal off-the-job training and the opportunity to practise new skills in a working environment.
